Dr. Ashley Farrell

I have wanted to be a veterinarian since I was very young. During high school, I did a co-op placement at a veterinary clinic, and after that, I was convinced that veterinary medicine was the career for me. I attended the Atlantic Veterinary College and graduated in 2013. After working for a few years in emergency medicine, I joined VetCare Pet Hospital in September 2018. My favourite thing about VetCare is the awesome group of employees and the wonderful clients.

I am very interested in preventative medicine and helping pets reach their healthiest potential. I love being able to watch patients grow throughout their lifetime, while also getting to know their human family members. I also have a soft spot for senior pets and love talking to owners about improving their quality of life.

A fun fact about me is that in my spare time I enjoy being outside with my family, and I hope to have a hobby farm someday.
